the Great Canadian Shoreline Clean-up

On September 25th, 2011 The Forest School is inviting all our friends to join us in a clean up  at Sandstone Lake starting at 11am.  We would love you to join us.  We will have bags and recycling containers, hot chocolate and some extra gloves.  You should bring clothes for the weather, picnic lunch, gloves and friends.

Directions to Sandstone Lake.
It takes about 1.5 hours from town.  Take 11/17 to Hwy 588 Stanley.  Continue on 588 , past Nololu, past Silver Mountain Station, past turn off to Arrow Lake and then you will find a right turn to Sandstone Lake (might say  Sandstone West).  Turn Right and head down the road until you go over a large Culvert and see on your right an obvious old Air Strip.  Stay to the right at the air strip and you will reach the Public Beach.  I will have some balloons hung up along the way.

Come out to enjoy a lovely fall day and Come help our planet!!!!

Sue

PS- If it is totally miserable outside, we will postpone.  You can call me 473-4599 if uncertain
